Shotlist
From 2009 48 Hour Film Project
Notes: The shots in this sequence are a bit unique because they're the open for the entire animation. Basically, each shot starts of totally dark and a spotlight comes into view. As it does so, it reveals part of the Round character and some portion of the credits (use your discretion for the order used in each shot). The spot hovers on the title long enough to be read and just misses a part of the character escaping the light (hand, arm foot, profile, etc.) The shot ends with the spot leaving the frame in the direction that the character went. This starts on Round's face... and he quickly bolts off. ANIMATION COMPLETED RENDER COMPLETED

Shot 2 Notes: Square enters from right foreground and picks up the tomato with his left hand. At this point, the tomato is desaturated.
Shot 3 Notes: Square should look fairly bewildered here. Round is shaking Square's right hand (be aware of tomato). ANIMATION COMPLETE COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETE RENDER COMPLETE

Shot 4 Notes: Include infomercial-esque text elements that point to the tomato and say things like "Boring" and "Lame" ANIMATION COMPLETE COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETE
Shot 5 Notes: Tomato changes to bright colors. Sound should give a nice "ding" sound or somesuch. ANIMATION COMPLETE COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETE
Shot 6 Notes: Need to double-up and maybe phase shift vomit sounds to make it sound more violent. May nee some broken ground modeled for landed safe. ANIMATION COMPLETE
Shot 7 Notes: Square wlks in from off-camera... dizzy and dazed. Stars may work well here. ANIMATION COMPLETE

Shot 13 (return to 1 - shot) Notes: Back to the single shot here... Square runs in from the left side, still with bees after him. It may be good to have a damage texture here. Bees evade falling safe. ANIMATION COMPLETED COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETED RENDER COMPLETE

Shot 14 Notes: Square comes back in from the RIGHT. ANIMATION COMPLETED COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETED RENDER COMPLETE

Shot 18
Umbrella scale: 3.615 | ||
Shot 19 Notes: Square opens umbrella and turns to the left to try and walk off confidently... as if he's accomplished something by surviving unscathed. Umbrella scale: 3.615 ANIMATION COMPLETE
Shot 20 Notes: Make sure the lightening hits the umbrella. Square will drop the umbrella. we have the choice of swapping his texture with a black, burnt texture... or a Square skeleton texture. The second set of sounds (where he's no longer screaming), Square should be laying on the ground; arm slowly raised... perhaps some animated aftershock zaps. ANIMATION COMPLETED- (pending review?)
Shot 21 Notes: Square walks in from off-screen and stops short of Round... approximately arm's length. ANIMATION COMPLETED COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETED

Shot 22 Notes: ANIMATION COMPLETE COMP AND LIGHT COMPLETE RENDER COMPLETE
Shot 23 (wider than storyboard shot) Notes: This is a wider shot than the "hold hold hold hold" (actually, the pulled gun shot is about the shot that we want). No sound here.. and barely any movement... perhaps an eye twitch. In the last second, Round raises his hand to say something and Square quickly draws a gun on him and shoots him in the head. Round dropps down, off camera.
Shot 24.1 Notes: The first "bang bang bang" screams stay in, but then it's just gunfire. As Square stops to breathe, we see Round's hand reaching up from the lower foreground. This triggers more gunfire in shot 24.2.
Shot 24.2 (Round's hand lifts) Notes: We don't need the middle finger on Square.
Shot 25 Notes: Snot would be nice... but optional. ANIMATION COMPLETE
